What is Brand Music?

Brand Music is an extension of Custom Music, where music and any audio elements need to live harmoniously in the same brand ecosystem. We typically refer to this more generally as “Sonic Branding”. These projects typically involve elements of custom music, audio production, sound design, integration with other marketing collateral, and thorough documentation to ensure replicable results and consistency. We feel that these projects provide the highest value to our clients while maximizing our skillset.

Elements of Sonic Branding

Jingle

Everyone is probably most familiar with this piece of sonic branding. We like to think of this as your brand’s theme song. In most cases, it’s important to develop multiple versions of your jingle that can be applied appropriately in different marketing situations.

Brand Music Library

This is a collection of custom music that your brand owns and can implement in any/all marketing materials. This is a unique offering as the current industry standard typically involves expensive licensing with limited terms and limited brand fit.

Sound Design

This includes audio elements, typically very short, that are useful for video transitions, tech applications, or anywhere on-brand sounds are needed. Examples would be the sound your phone makes when receiving a text or the sound of your dishwasher completing its cycle.

Audio Production Standards

This involves the creation and documentation of best-practices in audio/music production for your brand. This unique offering helps to ensure consistency in future marketing. Analogous to a visual brand book you’d receive from a design agency, you can think of this as your sonic brand book.
